Vintage vehicles

A vintage vehicle is a vehicle that was manufactured for more than 30 years ago and has been maintained in its original state or duly restored.

For a vintage vehicle, a separate statement is required. This is given by an inspector authorised by a vintage vehicle association. Based on this statement, an inspection station may register the vehicle as a vintage vehicle in connection with an alteration inspection.

Vintage vehicles taken into use in or after 1960 must be inspected every other year by the end of June.

Vintage vehicles taken into use before 1960 must be inspected every fourth year by the end of June.
