K1 Katsastajat has a network of nearly 50 inspection stations country-wide. In total, some 550,000 vehicles are inspected at our stations every year. We have an overall staff of 300 and an annual turnover of EUR 32 million.

Our own quality management system, technical support, customised inspection software, active marketing and use of modern IT tools offer us novel possibilities for serving our customers even better than before.

K1 Katsastajat Oy is owned by the Spanish company Applus, the world’s largest operator in the vehicle inspection business with more than 17 million inspections. Applus’s activities include vehicle industry-related testing and certification, among other operations. The company currently has operations in 30 countries and employs 10,000 people. Applus has an annual turnover of EUR 700 million.
